He did what he did and I believe, even right now today, he uses what he does as a marketing tool because he has no obligation to the politics of the streets. He has none. He don't care how it goes.
This is a perfect encapsulation of the endless semantics used throughout this whole Tekashi saga by idiots like wack who love playing devils advocate for absolutely no reason but to feel smart.
These arguments about “what is a snitch” and “well what about treyway” dance around the point that Tekashi is just a dogshit human being and everything that he did was wrong. Forget about what abides by “street code” or whatever, he got himself wrapped up in gangs for attention and then helped send people to jail when they were no longer beneficial to his sycophantic career and has continually initiated and instigated nothing but negativity so he can be famous. Hes an actively bad person, its really so simple.
