Y’all wild
White people are the number one consumer
White people own the culture
White people are the ones showing up to festivals in droves... buying the merch etc etc
If they want to chime in and discuss the players who are we to tell them they can’t? Their market share alone gives them seats at the table.
We should have the discussion so we don’t find ourselves in the same situation with a new 69
we are byproducts of a culture created by poverty and crime with trauma inflicted from the crack epidemic, racism, police brutality and slavery . wtf are you talking about saying white people can talk on the culture to a serious degree.
white people own the culture because black people own nothing
Can we please stop bringing up Snitch9ine
Thank you
i think you mean civilian9ine

Lose the emotion, you’re not wrong.. but they own the labels, post the record companies your favorite artists are signed to...
Then post their label executives, presidents, and CEOs...
Hip hop is owned by white people..
Now let’s talk consumption...
Who is hip hop largest consumer? What demographic?
Y’all gotta stop coming in here with these empty commands of what people can/can’t talk about and attribute to race.
So all the empty finger pointing and you can’t speak on this/that because your white is baseless lol...
If you give us xxx back then we will send you justin bieber.
So? lol I'm taling crazy careers, and 6ix9ine's was full of craziness. Still is.
No he wouldn’t he be forgotten quick
You can't name someone who has done more wild stuff than him. Dude is like the rap version of the Joker.

nobody said they cant speak on it, this is the internet.
taking things white people say who aren't really encompassed into the culture isn't bad . their claims are just baseless and not the same (they very well might be correct).
Its like black people trying to speak on rednecks culture

If we owned red neck culture and they were just the players, we could speak on it. Regardless of whether or not our claims were baseless or substantive...
Ownership is and always be the most dictating factor. Hip hop culture is big business, hip hop melodies are used to sell Big Macs and cars....
Lucian Grange or whatever his name is, had his son running around with Daniel while he was committing these crimes with the gang....
For the most part, we’re just the players. Just like in professional sports.

ownership doesnt mean you have to be involved in all conversations.
thats like saying the out of touch boss at work who we see once a year has right to be in the workers convo who are they're doing 9-5 each day . despite the fact he was born into the ceo role and hes never been any further away from their reality
So I got mixed emotions when we call this kid a snitch because I believe civilians don't snitch, they tell the truth. He did what he did and I believe, even right now today, he uses what he does as a marketing tool because he has no obligation to the politics of the streets. He has none. He don't care how it goes.
This is a perfect encapsulation of the endless semantics used throughout this whole Tekashi saga by idiots like wack who love playing devils advocate for absolutely no reason but to feel smart.
These arguments about “what is a snitch” and “well what about treyway” dance around the point that Tekashi is just a dogshit human being and everything that he did was wrong. Forget about what abides by “street code” or whatever, he got himself wrapped up in gangs for attention and then helped send people to jail when they were no longer beneficial to his sycophantic career and has continually initiated and instigated nothing but negativity so he can be famous. Hes an actively bad person, its really so simple.
"Snitching" is derived from street politics
The vast majoirty of the hip-hop consumer do not abide by street code, and are not G's in any way.
It's cringe and corny that 6ix9ine is straight up being blackballed by an industry that was clearly supporting him, but now won't because black ppl are mad at him for snitching.
Think about it:
1) He's "snitching" on muderers, d*** dealers, etc. these aren't good people. Not snitching is not a noble deed
2) None of y'all (not y'all in particular) are street, who tf are y'all to blackball someone for snitching
And I don't own a single song from bro
"I got mixed feelings on 6ix9ine. He did what he did but on the same note, he should have never been in a position to do what he did," said Wack. "This thing we got in the streets it ain't for everybody. It's not a free-for-all, it ain't like Magic Mountain where you show up, buy a ticket, and get in. There's certain things you got to go through, certain things that have to be proven before somebody is allowed to come in. The fact that the gang allowed him to come in and him being inside of it is what gave him information. ... He should have never had the information that he had when he got put under that light. Everything ain't for everybody. And I really think he was in character the whole time. He was using the block for his street cred. Everything about the kid defies what he said he was."
Wack 100 goes on to say that he believes 6ix9ine has a "death wish" and that he should never have been in a spot to receive so much information.
"They let the kid hear things that was going on behind his back," he said. "They put this kid in a situation he shouldn't have been in. What he did was, he just went back to who he really was. He took the costume off. So I got mixed emotions when we call this kid a snitch because I believe civilians don't snitch, they tell the truth. He did what he did and I believe, even right now today, he uses what he does as a marketing tool because he has no obligation to the politics of the streets. He has none. He don't care how it goes. He's just a little kid playing and doodling and it's allowed. They're allowing it to happen. I think he got a death wish. I think he wanna go out a martyr one day."

No but it gives you the power to jump in any conversation.
Hip hop culture is white people s***
This isn’t the inception of hip hop in the late 70s... in NYC parks and neighborhoods.
It’s 2021, and this is big business.
He went from the Cover of Rap Caviar, Apple Music, etc.
to not even being mentioned at all thats so corny and wack.
Streaming platforms engaging in street s*** is sooooo weak

You dont need to be street to understand that he got himself involved in something he shouldnt, and then got himself out of it in the most damaging way possible to everyone else involved despite being warned countless times that this was actually a bad idea.
What kind of dogshit ass parents do yall have to not understand that getting yourself into something you shouldnt be involved in and then throwing others under the bus to get yourself out of it is somehow not that bad? Anybody can understand this concept its not a street thing this is just regular life.

None of this is wrong
But why should it matter to regular people and consumers who aren't street?
Y'all went from listneing to his music, number 1 on billboard, to now stayign away from him like the plague and the reason for said distance is street s***. Lame

This is absolutely street s*** wtf are you talking about lol
This is absolutely street s*** wtf are you talking about lol
The concept of getting yourself involved in something you shouldnt and throwing people under the bus or damaging your collaborators in an effort to avoid the consequences of your actions is absolutely not a concept reserved for the streets
