Thats why the snitching convo is so maddening, it only serves to bring up a strawman argument about who can and cant care about this when in reality anybody with any level of integrity can understand whats going on here and why hes such a horrible human being
The concept of getting yourself involved in something you shouldnt and throwing people under the bus or damaging your collaborators in an effort to avoid the consequences of your actions is absolutely not a concept reserved for the streets
Sure. But there's some OBVIOUS context that you're omitting that matters. If you want to be obtuse and not acknowledge the street element of the 6ix9ine discourse then okay.
He's not being blackballed for "getting himself involved in something he shouldn't have and is throwing people under the bus" he's being blackballed from culture for being a former gang member turned snitch.
The reality is that he's being blackballed by culture for snitching, something that the culture frowns upon and in my opinion, that's ridiculous.
Him being a horrible human being, who got himself into trouble and took other people down with him etc. is all true but that's not why he's being outcast by culture.
Snitching culture as toxic as it is, IS why this is happening to him.

Hes being blackballed by corporations to appease people who will bring more revenue to those corporations than Tekashi will. Thats just capitalism.
The people in need of appease are the rappers and other label figures who dislike tekashi in part because hes a snitch (he absolutely is a snitch no amount of mental gymnastics is getting around that) and in part for the reasons i laid out.
My only point is that a lot of this conversation dances around very easy to digest points in favor of bad faith arguments, like the one Wack is laying out here.

This is kinda a ridiculous point. The reason people dont respect snitching is because of everything you said in that second sentence.
“Hes not being blackballed for getting himself involved with crime and then telling on his co-conspirators to avoid jail time, hes being blackballed for snitching” ??

FACTS
It's not a hard concept to comprehend.
-He is a bad human being, he did get involved in something that got so deep that he had to tell on his co conspirators to get free. That is not my point here. My point is that the Hip-Hop community is not street, but that is street politics
-I think that that's nasty and lame to try and play hip-hop politce.

You shouldn't be blackballed from a steaming platform for cooperating with the feds- essentially following the law-in legal terms, doing the 'right' thing.
I think that's what they were getting at, and it's correct.
Fans can think 1 thing. But the actual performs should be impartial to that.
And if he didn't snitch the same people calling him out for doing so, would be saying he's "stupid for spending the majority of his life in prison for people that tried to kill him"

If that's what you call stating facts then cool.
But I'd still prefer to be left out of your little gay fantasises, no judgement if that's your thing though

But theyre not blackballing him because they care about what he did, theyre blackballing him because its a good look. The rappers and label people like to see him gone and im sure theres a good amount of fans who use these services who are glad not to see him on there. Its just an easy win for the corporations to look good.
Should they be impartial to “street s***” yeah I guess, but those lists aren’t impartial in the first place so whats the difference
You can't name someone who has done more wild stuff than him. Dude is like the rap version of the Joker.
BAHAHAHA

I don’t have a problem wit X Or his fans actually I wish he could’ve had more time for his career to grow. I’m laughing because the term you used. None of that makes him an “OG” tho lol you don’t even know what that means clearly. Just say he was active or wit the s***s or sumn. Also none of that s*** is impresses me lol He sound like every young nigga I grew up wit or watched grow up wit anger issues that wanted to be in the streets.
