not really. cemented artists are like aaliyah or usher. he’s ok i guess but he isn’t going toe to toe with a lot of legendary artists like that. he’s arguably just the bruno mars of his gen.
Aaliyah? Seriously?
I’m missing something cause he’s getting a ton a hate online.. not to mention out of spite they mass bought Britney Spears selfish song

if aaliyah never died he’d be on reality tv
lil wayne working at mcdonalds if 2pac was still alive type beat
The prince diss thing was a reach and was manufactured due to Timberlake needing someone to diss in order to be on that Timbaland diss song with Nelly Furtado since that songs gimmick was "we clapping at our haters!!!"
Literally all prince said was that it couldn't have brought sexy back cuz sexy never left. Not really a diss. And honestly the weirder thing about that song was him dissing Janet Jackson and making fun of her sales after basically ruining her career by not having her back after the superbowl debacle
What? I don't think he dissed Janet on that song. At all.

he's the phil collins of his gen.
People still talk about MJ and Prince, but nobody mentions Collins when discussing 80s classics.
They worked together during the DAMN. era, but nothing was released.
🧢 he said in 2021 he wanted to do a collab with Kendrick lol
Aaliyah? Seriously?
aaliyah got several all timer artists who are inspired by her and she’s got one in a million. if she was still here she’d get all those beats instead of timberlake
he's the phil collins of his gen.

nah phil collins is cemented properly. phil collins arguably one of the most influential artists of the 80s he’s often discussed nvm the fact he’s part of genesis too
lil wayne working at mcdonalds if 2pac was still alive type beat
not really. wayne was super talented before his balls even dropped. justin timberlake wasn’t getting those timbo beats ahead of aaliyah lol
No
i’m not even wrong. it’s only white people and black people who do that corny invited to the cookout s*** that rate him like that. he’s ok but put his s*** next to 8701 or confessions he doesn’t stand a chance.

lol no she wouldnt
shes an r&b artist
JT was always making more of a push towards electropop. He is also a producer for the sound he and Timbaland came up with. The sound they did is what influenced Timbaland for his own Shock Value project at the time. You are massively undercutting the JT and Timbaland collaboration

The hate is extremely forced at this point. I saw a similar tweet go viral earlier and they got called out immediately

she was already pushing into pop with her self titled and was branching out from r&b. aaliyah was easily grabbing those beats if she didn’t die. she was always getting his best beats back then even when jayz was on his beats. timberlake wasn’t getting any of those beats when aaliyah was already way more forward thinking with s:t.
Jc chasez truthers itt

No it isn’t. JT’s first three albums clear any Usher album not named Confessions. Out of both catalogs, Confessions has to be deemed the greatest project but I’m choosing Justified over it personally.
