It's so sad seeing the same 3 stans defending Justin against 100.000 JT haters. It's over, the ship can't be rescued from sinking. Justin was my man, my idol growing up. This album will be mediocre. Gen Z doesn't know or care about him. He should've just dropped more classics in the 2000s to cement his legacy, similar to Beyoncé.

1. Prince started the beef so nobody should have a problem with JT clapping back. And Prince was dead by that point with JT performing in Minnesota. Just because you got beef with somebody doesn't mean you can't recognize their influence and importance to music. Silly ass reason to dislike someone over this.

2. I don't even think this is an All Lives Matter slogan. This was a response to someone trying to call him a culture vulture when he was standing in solidarity with BLM. I see nothing wrong with this response. It's mature and classy unlike these dogshit haters.

3. Janet was joking about the Superbowl after 2 months. Why can't JT joke about it also? JT also wanted to stand up for Janet after it happened and she told him not to because she didn't want him risking his young solo career for her. Janet also a couple years ago in a documentary said to leave her and JT alone over the whole situation. If anyone deserves s*** about the Superbowl incident, its Les Moonves and the american media and public for judging her so hard. Not Justin for an accident.

4. As for the culture vulture allegations, this is the stupidest thing I have ever seen in my life. Why do Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and countless others get a pass for using black artists as props in their music to appeal to pop culture? Unlike 99% of the artists in the pop genre, Justin actually writes and makes music with his black producers outside of his own music. He actually routinely cosigns, collaborates, and gives new black artists opportunities and a higher platform. Most pop stars just use rappers and black artists as props. Justin was highly dedicated to giving back to the artists that helped him with his sound. He is the last thing in the world from a cultural appropriator.

I think where I was going was, I feel like ‘white guy with proximity to black culture’ has taken a hit like people are completely skeptical now & ON IT & in Justin’s case he has like a 20 year career for the internet to get forensic about if he does something unfavorable now, & I think that country album was like a double whammy in that people could see it potentially as him denouncing his association to black music in a way & plainly terribly received & spawned a wave of hate

not really. cemented artists are like aaliyah or usher. he’s ok i guess but he isn’t going toe to toe with a lot of legendary artists like that. he’s arguably just the bruno mars of his gen.
