feel bad for anyone who think more than 3 MCU films are above average or memorable tbh
Birds of Prey not creating the illusion of being prestige cinema for man child fan boys who form their opinions around collider video reviews >>>>
I enjoy the MCU way more than DCU so...

I’m sorry to hear that, brother. Not everyone is able to realize superhero films peaked with Batman Returns and Snyder was sent by jesus himself to resurrect the genre.

Real
Vaccine dropping in spring man this move was just unnecessary
Still gonna take some time after the vaccine is out for things to go back to normal. Best case scenario is early 2022 and that's if things don't go wrong with the vaccine / majority of people refuse to get it.

people aren't rushing to movie theaters they already didn't care much when they reopened even in states that didn't take the virus seriously
LA and NYC are the biggest markets and have yet to reopen in 9 months. If nothing changes movies will just get delayed still. No big movie wanted to drop this fall in theaters except for Tenet. After Nolan committed every other film abandoned him. I understand WB throwing in the towel tbh and i think other studios will too
And with vaccines even if its Spring we won't be acclimated to the new norm till around Fall, and thats if a majority of the country commits (which they currently aren't). We aren't hitting a norm with theaters till 2022 at best. For all of the non-blockbusters i really doubt anyone was going. Dune, Godzilla/Kong and SS could have gotten decent numbers

I would watch the Snyder Cut first. People are overhyping it and idk what to expect.

Covid isn’t just going to disappear as soon as the vaccine drops. This s*** is going to take time

Nobody’s overhyping it imo the people who loved MOS and BvS are just excited they get to see Snyder get to see his vision for JL fully realized. If you don’t like his take on the DCU this new cut won’t change your mind.
Honestly what else is Warner bros supposed to do? Keep delaying all their movies? Drop them and watch them all flop? It seems like every other studio is afraid to do anything.
I'd really like to see every other studio hold out as they're forced to delay their slates for the 3rd time while Warner Bros is the only studio who can move on from COVID era
As it stands right now with us not even hitting the peak of the virus cases per day yet Winter and early spring are 100% not happening. Vaccine not hitting majority till Summer
without this move blockbusters like Godzilla/Kong were already going to be sold off for streaming premiers. And that was a movie planning to drop in May, same time as BW, Bond and F&F9. which were all delayed a year. If they're scared that says something
I don’t even see Snyder’s cut of JL coming even close to MOS or BvS quality wise but it’ll be better than Infinity War/Endgame at least.

Disney's Investors Day on the 10th
Disney on December 10 will announce its upcoming slate. While the studio will solidify what Deadline revealed recently — that the Tom Hanks-starrer Pinocchio, Peter Pan and the Emma Stone-starrer Cruella will bypass movie theaters to become Disney+ releases — the studio will also announce new projects from Marvel, Lucasfilm and Pixar that will encompass TV as well as theatrical. It will be a gesture toward not abandoning the exhibitors
The irony of Nolan complaining when it's pretty much his fault this is happening 💀
