even his own right hand mans he just finished a classic era for the culture with didn’t come to his wedding

Jay tried all that euro s*** Kanye was on and almost cheated on Bey, had to go make 4:44, for the culture

Jay cheating on his wife has nothing to do with Kanye.

Yeah because it had a botched release, that’s the point we’re making

And I’m not saying it would’ve passed Views. I’m saying it would’ve set the record at that time before Views had the chance to. The record was super low before Views, Lemonade had set it the week before Views

Rap culture, HipHop media and the mainstream were not rocking with the album nor Kanye at this point

Due to the sound of the album and his actions + controversies of the time

It didn't grip anything HipHop wise, at the time, and the only positive he got from Rap itself was the building promo projectors + New Slaves song

He alienated Rap artists, fans and media in more ways than one at the time

Yeezus public perception did improve a lot with the tour

No he wasn’t. TLOP was big for music fans and white male kids but was niche in the greater culture. It’s only very specific people who listened to that. LR to Graduation fame was about 20 times bigger. Unless we’re strictly talking about kardashian and trump headlines that didn’t translate to ye’s music.

Some of these people must be so young.

You misunderstanding. Absolutely nobody is saying that TLOP was as big as LR and Grad

You’re wrong about TLOP. I was in high school when that dropped. Everyone was on that. It wasn’t just music fans and white kids. My school was mostly black and Spanish

What does that matter how does that in any way change the dynamic of the exchange
Like bro claims he don’t know Drake like that personally so he won’t definitively admit his deep seated hatred for him, but will go ahead and make assertive statements implying he can read minds and know for certain what Drake was thinking during the creative process of his albums which is pure bait then get mad defensive when someone calls them out on it
    .
S***s like clockwork we can easily tell apart the bad actors vs the genuine criticism

Niggas forget that TLOP is still the most illegally downloaded album of all time

The official sales don’t reflect how much of a moment that album was because the Tidal exclusivity botched its’ commercial performance
