The public is coming back on Kanye's side in a big way. I've seen very little backlash to the WUITB video, and he's been generally well received. The whole "he used trump to get people out of prison" narrative really took off on Twitter too. Not saying he doesn't have detractors, because he always will, but if he puts out quality music, and stays away from political twitter rants, he'll be generally accepted again.
