And if so which one were you?
I went to 2 high schools there really wasnt one tbh
Maybe it's just an american thing or maybe it's not even a real thing in america and it's just movies
Raw thots
i had 25 people in my graduating year we didnt have enough people to be seperated
At my school, a ton of the jocks were smart kids who wanted to be accountants and lawyers as back ups for pro sports. I knew one kid who was top of the class for economics class and went on to be a professional AFL player.
The people that played on the basketball and football teams were def higher on whatever social ladder but there was no bullying
Niggas getting stuffed in the locker and getting “swirlies” and s*** is def some middle america suburban s***

No we didn't , the " jocks" were also the one performing best academically. If you were dumb you would be ridiculed
Not really. Everyone was too busy in the final 2 years of the school.
Closest you can say is that the students with science subjects were nerds and the rest with business, history or arts were jocks cause science students didn't have any time for any extracurricular activity after school or any time to go to parties.
Kinda but it wasn't that deep. The 'cool' kids were mostly the best at sport. Although that's prob not even completely true but they had the aspiring soccer players and s*** (I'm UK). There wasn't really nerds tho there was just levels down from that less cool kids and then kids it prob fair to say on the loser or some other type of spectrum. No one was out here getting bullied tho like this in American TV/films
No we had max 60 people in my year
And all the 'nerds' hit the gym hard by year 10-11 because it was exactly like grinding Runescape/wow
Also being smart was celebrated just as much as being athletic
Kinda was a jock but was cool with nerds because I was into anime before you niggas made it a personality trait.
There were athletic/social kids and then weird nerds and then everything inbetween. There was no real interaction and everybody stayed within their lanes
I think that’s some movie s***
1000 kids in my grad class, school too big for that. Everybody stuck to their groups
My high school was literally built on sports (rugby) superiority but the city around it is too hipster/laid back for this to be the issue it would be in some random USA town
The people that played on the basketball and football teams were def higher on whatever social ladder but there was no bullying
Niggas getting stuffed in the locker and getting “swirlies” and s*** is def some middle america suburban s***
More like white people s*** if we’re being honest

in a hs? that’s crazy
always some kind of dynamic but it depended a lot on what type of school you went to
like rich prep school vs tiny rural HS vs huge public school would be completely different vibes
Went to middle school and high school in the Bronx.
More so in middle school when people were less mature.
A little bit in high school but it wasn’t anything super segregated like in the movies. There was always intermingling but there was also a clear divide
Looking back on it I was type avatar the last airbender. Probably one of the only kids in high school who had a foot in every group.
I was fw anime, Pokémon, yugioh, basketball, rap, rock, pop, honor roll AP student, I was a sneaker head. I was down with everyone but my main crew were on the “popular” side cus they were the most jokes
