Absolutely insane how Watch Dogs was THE most anticipated title going into last generation, and now there are nothing but crickets this time around.

i feel like the people finally are getting bored of open world games tbh, alot of them just seem super generic with one little cool thing about them, someone needs to do something completely different, hoping gta 6 does that, botw did that imo

Lezlie Benzies who used to work for Rockstar and was one of the leads started developing his own open world game (and studio) in which he's trying to do something very new, ill make a thread about that some day but that does seem like it could be something very special

Had a lot of potential, but they made a few mistakes in the first game. And everything after that it's like they've been in "reinvent mode"

First game was fun but the biggest flaws were:
Generic story
Super generic main character
The INFAMOUS graphics downgrade from the E3 trailer (you can fix this with mods, but if you played on console you were F***ED)
Minor gameplay aspects (Driving and getaways were annoying as hell)

Watch Dogs 2 improved on almost everything. But they also chose to go with a completely different tone than the first game.

So since they jagged the first game it kinda shot itself in the foot of becoming a respectable IP.

I'll be playing this cause I got it for free with my 3080. But tbh I just want Cyberpunk and Valhalla

Can’t wait to play Valhalla i wanna get this too but yeah between Cold War, Valhalla, and Cyberpunk I’m not in any huge rush

This def the last watch dogs game

They had an awesome idea and decided to fumble it with a horrible graphics downgrade, boring story, repetetive gameplay and the ubisoft formula. Game had so much potential smh

Valhalla is hard for me to judge. One moment it looks pretty great the next i imagine its a slog

Yep I enjoy watch dogs for what it is, but the price on this def gonna be hitting on sale for $20 sooner than later

I bought the first one as the first and only game I got when I bought my PS4. I traded it in the next day. F*** these games

It’s on uplay. Which you might as well get it there cause even if it was on steam you would have to launch it through uplay

There’s also uplay + which you can pay 15$ and play the game for the month if you can beat it within a month
