i feel like the people finally are getting bored of open world games tbh, alot of them just seem super generic with one little cool thing about them, someone needs to do something completely different, hoping gta 6 does that, botw did that imo

Lezlie Benzies who used to work for Rockstar and was one of the leads started developing his own open world game (and studio) in which he's trying to do something very new, ill make a thread about that some day but that does seem like it could be something very special

I think there's a factor of that but there's just nothing about this game expect the idea of being able to play as ANY CHARACTER that appeals to me. I played a bit of Watch Dogs 2 and it was just a drag that I didn't feel like completing expect for the feeling of, well completing.

AC Valhalla seems interesting to me just due to visual and settings alone and I haven't played the last 3-4 games in the series.

    Does it suck ?

Performance-wise yeah. The dialogue is borderlands level corny. But d***ing around the open world has been p fun so far.

tbh dialogue in Watch Dogs 2 was corny af. parts of the story too. Is it fun though? I would consider Watch Dogs 2 fun, though I didn't play much after the story.

    are the cars floaty?

The only car I used was one of the sporty ones and it was arcade-y. The motorcycles were floaty though. Its more fun just walking around and hacking stuff though imo

This is the first watch dogs I’ve played and yeah I’d say I’m enjoying it. I didn’t go in with any expectations though since I got it for free lol

Am I right in saying I can buy the PS4 version of this, then when I get the ps5 have the game added on there with the whole PS4>ps5 thing, then give the disc to a friend so they can have the game to play normally on PS4?

Huh no I think your copy has to be digital for the free upgrade

You can only play the free upgrade on PS5 with the disc inserted

Kind of wish I held off playing until the Series X is out, it does look decent on the One X but the screen tear and FPS drops are a bit off-putting, debating whether to stop playing for now and wait until the 10th

I’m playing on a base Xbox One and it looks ugly during the day, but at night, looks really good. FPS and screen tearing is def iffy as I expected on a base One lol.

I honestly debated just waiting til my series X + new TV came in to really play more, but I’ve been having fun with it so f*** it.

This feels like saints row...also, the performance is terrible, I’ve never had a game run this bad since AC origins

Honestly, when’s the last time Ubisoft released a GOTY tier game?

Assassins Creed 2/Brotherhood? I feel like Assassins Creed, Far Cry and Watch Dogs are pretty much all the same game at this point.

Open world, towers, pretty much every mission is infiltrating a base and stealing something/killing someone/rescuing someone, and each game has a drone that you use to scope out said base (in AC it’s some kind of bird) before you infiltrate it.

Hell, isn’t that pretty much also the case for the recent Ghost Recon games?

Honestly Rainbow Six Siege is probably the best game they released this entire generation.

Watch Dogs 2 was so slept on and was a decent story. This s*** is just boring and repetitive. You start to see the gameplay patterns after a few hours.

Should've known this would be mid when the main selling point of this game is playing as any pedestrian.

You could do this in GTA III :word:
