Nas is a way better lyricist. Wayne’s strengths were his flows, his range in delivery/inflections, his ability to make catchy songs, and his punchlines

As far as storytelling, lyrical content, rhyming, hard hitting lines, etc, it’s not even a contest. You can turn a Nas song off and read the lyrics like they were a poem. I love Wayne but you absolutely can’t do that with his lyrics where he’s mostly just saying clever things about p**** or how good he is
