I'm a Wayne stan but this is sooooo true.

As a matter of fact, one of the reasons Wayne was so great in his prime was his charisma, flow, and creativity.

If we're strictly going by lyrics and bars then Pharoahe, Canibus, K-Rino, and Lupe are "way better" than both. But obviously there's more to rap than that.

i mention it because wayne is wayne on mixtapes

that wasn't really a thing when pac was alive

and i have no reason to believe he wouldn't have smoked mixtapes too

Overall I get this sentiment that Wayne is a "way better rapper than Pac" especially considering a lot of Wayne's fans never experienced Pac's impact or music for that matter but there were times when Pac could really go crazy & spit. I think he made so much music & used so many flows we forget that Pac's lyricism & energy was unmatched when he wanted to go in & rap his ass off like that.

Wayne and Pac both had amazing work ethics

  • May 16, 2021

That’s so crazy to me man I honestly love it though

There was a time when older niggas and racist Em fans didn’t wanna call Wayne a top tier lyricist lol it’s wild that was during his prime and now niggas just casually saying he’s WAY better than 2Pac my nigga 😂

Saying he was even on the same level as Pac would’ve been crazy back then and none of his music after that point was top tier

In the 2010s he didn’t really do anything MUSICALLY that made his legacy look better. All his best s*** came out in the 00s and he was rapping before that. He wasn’t the best in Hot Boys. Album wise he had Carter series. All his best moments were on mixtapes and scattered throughout feats. So even discog wise niggas tryna convince me C2, C3, D2, and DD3 on the same level of quality as Pac best s***

That should tell you everything right there 🤫
