went to mam for their lny dinner! an xoi was also doing theirs and di an di 2 but i rly wanted to try their head cheese lol

the ga bo xoi (braised chicken and mushrooms wrapped up in a sticky rice and deep fried was so mf good
the head cheese n cha lua were so good

and went 2 sushi by m w some friends yseterday (they were doing a buy 3 get 1 set free thing, ended today), highly rec overall, ive posted them b4






the hokkaido uni was so good this time, so sweet n perfy, its apparently peak season rn :>
they also had shiro ebi, which is sort of hard to find in ny, and they only have it sometimes (u can always ask)
honestly like theres a lot of sushi counters in ny, but i think this one theyre just overall good people people and know how to make sure ur having a good time

lmfso i only tried two so far

cloudforest is a choco company that one tastes like a rich chocolate ice cream w like a dark choc hazelnut spread swirl that has like a hint of liquor flavor

dandelion is sf choco company that one is pretty much like a light choco milk flavored ice cream (very light chocolate flavor too light to call it milk chocolate) w like almond frangipaine swirl and tiny bits and candied cocoa nib

haven’t tried the other two but

the almond gold bar is just vanilla ice cream w like choppied pieces of bougie snickers bars

and sprinkle cake batter flavored ice cream w fudge swirls i think

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that makes so much sense lol in nmy mind i was imagining like cocoa nibs somehow alchemized from dandelion plants
