    i got this delivered to the hotel room and my mom ate half of it at 7am

    at least she got a pic of it for me before she went nuts on it

    and been making matcha drinkies

    its basically 9 mochis filled with cream and chopped up japanaese chestnut pieces

    with chestnut montblanc paste on top

    this was actually so good

    for instance

    this character is meant to be a grand hotel banquet chef
    u have 2 have crazy technique
    got cured goose, shark fin soup, xun yu (shanghai 'smoked' fish), pork belly w abalone, shellfish broth, yang cao fried rice

    then nyc

    chef katsu -- roll cake is so good
    i liked the salmon bowl but not as much as their katsu curry. i also think their radishes are weird in that theyre not pickled or fermented just salty as f***. their miso isnt worth the $ i thought it wld b sim to tonjiru but it was just plain miso w emaciated bits of button mushrooms.... nty. roll cake and strawb matcha yummy. matcha is rllly light its more like matcha strawb milk.

    kisa is ok, its 36 for the platter and u get 3 banchan refills total.
    i dont like the banchan limit bc their gim counts towards a refill and apparently they fly it in from korea but still... its 3 sheets of gim, relax.
    overall was tasty but i significantly prefer cho dang gol in ktown
    no annoying white ppl who only go to restaurants based on influencer reviews
    no banchan limit
    1 hr wait instead of 3 hour wait
    homemade tofu
    but kisas worth checking out if ur really craving korean food while in lower manhattan

    we went to this bed n brekky in oceanview
    brekky was so good
    pork roll w homemade sweet spicy sauce cheese n egg

    el artesano


    empenadas on left, ropa vieja next to ketchup, vaca frita on right

    caravan uyghur cuisine



    also got saffron tea, was rly good
    got lamb kebabs (fire), stir fry noodles (beef), kordak (braised lamb w naan)
    really yummy
    tastes really homemade and nice
    defs recommend

    Like its not bad
    But better restaurants w better price points are a plenty

    It was my birthday yesterday but I was to tired after going out, instead of cooking everything up and I had a leftover sushi platter from lunch. Tonight im having the supper i bought which was 30 something oysters, steak, lobster and a cigar after! Boiling the lobster now and cant wait! I saved so much money from quitting smoking weed, this meal cost the amount of weed I would smoke in a few days. I also still drank alcohol and vaped/smoked cigarettes, a couple days or maybe a single night. Pretty crazy.
