    Last Shadow

    1½oz Demerara rum
    ½oz dark overproof rum
    ½tsp Fernet Branca
    1tsp Demerara syrup
    1tsp cinnamon bark syrup

recipe also calls for a grapefruit twist which I didn't have so I just used my orange aroma spray on it which I think was adequate. 4/5 stars, very very good drank

craftsman and wolves (ngl wasn’t really wowed by anything from this spot. looks better than it taste imo. far from bad but there’s so many better places in the bay i would rather spend my money at)

black sesame kouign aman w mini white sesame macron w red bean ganache+ triple choco croissant + mortadella havarti pistachio + asiago parm, scallion, pork sausage muffin w egg in the middle + orange shashuka stack with butternut chutney, runny egg, feta crumble

hazelnut financier + lemon morning bun + blackberry almond muffin + chocolate chip cookie

my faves were the hazelnut financier, black sesame kouign, shashuka stack, and the cookie

the one w the egg in the middle is their signature dish and that s*** is def more for the gram than for the taste

chocolate marble cake + canele from benoit (both fire)

dark + blonde choco chip cookie from ebb

Cut the potatoes in little pieces like you see in the picture, add a little bit on the tray and spread it around.

Put all the potatoes there and have in on the oven for 20 minutes, then take them out and turn them around with a spatula. Add salt and some oregano over them. Into the oven again.

Repeat in cycles of 15 minutes until the hour of cooking is done. Check the color of them, maybe you like them crunchy so have them in the oven a little more but be careful or it well get too burnt

prolly the only pastries i’ll be able to get out here cause no time. from this spot next to our hotel

    instagram.com/ironyivory_jeju?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

choco croissant, nutella twist, some type of bacon egg cheese bread, also had a pepp pizza bread which was really good (not pictured tho cause i ate it immediately)

edit: choco croissant was good.. nothing special just a solid pain au choc..

nutella twist was really good but mostly cause they got the nutella to bread ratio correct. something you will rarely get back in the states (always way too much f***ing nutella) and reason why i don’t really get nutella type pastries back at home

bec bread was pretty mid. only ate a little bit. not worth the calories tbh.

and then this bakery’s specialty.. some s*** called a le tigre.. won’t be able to try this until after the wedding tonite tho (don’t wanna feel fat before it lmfso).. supposed to be a like a burnt butter (first time having burnt butter but feel like they meant to say browned butter but got lost in translation) cookie/pastry shell w a filled center.. got chocolate, early grey, and salted caramel

really wanted to check out nudake but will only have two days in seoul when i get back and i need to spend that time w family cause i ain’t been out here in years but also not really trippin cause im not the biggest fan of korean style baking (my palette too americanized)
