S*** one of my favorite meals and is hella easy to make and takes like 5-10 min prep
Drain some chick peas and dry them off, get broccoli (sometimes I’ll use kale), sweet potatoes and onions throw it on a baking sheet, season everything and bake until it looks good and I’ll just use a bag of instant rice and serve with some raw bell peppers and throw some sauce (I use Trader Joe’s red curry sauce) in the microwave for 30 secs and pour it over everything

cookies r the gochu caramel from cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1023675-gochujang-caramel-cookies with the base from typefoodie.com/post/honey-butter-cornbread-cookies
cookies are actually so good, with or without the gochu caramel. eric kim recipe says to swirl the gochu in but i just blobbed a lil on top each one after i rolled the cornbread cookie in the sugar./cornmeal i baked it until it looked flat.
also a new bakery opened off astor place last week (like a block from librae lol)
pastry chef from gramercy tav + BA editor opened
the only things they had left were their 16$ cranberry sauce, a choco mousse, and slices of their pb&j cake
the cake was really good... the flavor was really interesting and not that sweet. the jam was really good (more like whole blueberry preserves) and the pb tasted like peanut brittle. so good
id like to try other stuff from them, they said they havent been selling out super fast bc theyre really trying to keep up w demand and working to improve even more
cake was a realllly really light cake, kinda spongey and not dense at all-- it looks kinda smooshed bc the wind literally blew the bag over lol
i like their cake a lot more than from lucie's, which have such regular flavors u cld make a better cake at home

I tried the cinnamon roll n potato bun. Potato bun was really mid-as slightly truffly but otherwise real bland. Featured a colorless pomme dauphinoise
Cinammon bun was good but not incredible… cloudy donuts’s sweet potato cinnamon bun is way better
