    i should be posting pies and eating mash potatoes n s*** but i had to go to a last minute funeral in korea today

    ngl pretty sad about not being able to try blooms end pie after securing a preorder before it sold out

    i get the b patisserie pie every year tho so not too sad about missing out on that one but still kinda sad ngl

    the butter swim biscuits were super easy to make, sort of drop biscuit meets pan pizza i think bc of all the oil caramelizing the sides. however, the texture was kinda uneven, some a bit tough, other parts tender
    id rather just make drop biscuits but watching the oil soak up was cool

    i prefer joel robuchon potatoes n not the milk street butter braised ones. easier, and i think mashed potatoes need cream--just only having potato and butter flavor is kinda odd, needs cream to round it out

    cinammon rolls were fire, used the scientifically sweet recipe

    went to haemok today.

    last meal of my trip and one of the three meals i had out here that wasn’t just funeral home food (same meal 3x a day for 3 days straight.. s*** was good tho ngl. didn’t get tired of it tbh)

    got uni donburi and split an unagi donburi w my dad.

    woulda took photos if i was w my mom and sis but i was with my dad and uncles so i wasn’t about to do that s*** in front of them lmfso my b

    looked exactly like this tho

    got some salt bread and a queen ahman from bakery down the street that had really cool interior design.. had like a mini moss mountain thing in the center w a stream that ran down from this giant rock hanging from the ceiling that was dripping water. entrance was cool af too but have no idea what the name of the place is
