    I think the best part of San ho won were the employee uniforms. I would rock that s*** outside of work tbh

    you should try get a table at benu instead. Same chef but 3 more Michelin stars than San ho won.

    shw good but dont go in expecting traditional Korean bbq flavors or you may be disappointed. Like the double cut galbi is nothing like a la galbi you’d get at kbbq restaurant. I think that’s why it was kinda underwhelming to me cause I was expecting it to taste more like a traditional galbi.

    i fl like a lot of them just serve some variation of

    lobster with foam and a nasturtium leaf
    duck with a puree and a nasturtium leaf
    a5 wagyu w edible flowers and a nasturtium leaf

    i feel like a lot of weird/fun sounding combos and stuff end up just being like

    "here is ur squid ink creme brulee but i put .1 drop of squid ink so u cant even see let alone possibly taste it but here it is, now the item will sell better"

    Legitimate one bed one bath with a really big living room that I'm going to turn into a workspace for different projects

    Below average market rate for a studio in one of my favorite parts of the city

    That boy Shwin already hit me to link for some food

    Gotta stay here for now cause I get really good health insurance through the state

    Haven't been to NY since Thanksgiving 2019 so I'm hoping to bus down there in the spring and start making regular trips eventually
