I think this is an interesting discussion because the capitalist elite does use illegal immigrant labor to further suppress black workers. If south africa has a 30% unemployment rate then why should there be an incentive to cut costs by using immigrant labor?

the problem is caused by capitalism and nothing caused by capitalism can be fixed through reforms to the immigration system. this is precisely why the EFF is an international party of africans, we can not alienate africans from one another.

What the tweet is pointing out is that malema is wrong and later rescinded his position. Also just if we’re taking about strategy as leftists you cant just tell workers that they should ignore a giant unemployment rate while illegal immigrant labor is being used to siphon off even more profit. Yes its an inherent issue of capitalism but that doesnt mean it shouldn’t be addressed
