That’s what I’m saying. I’m not the type to buy a 800 sq ft condo for 1 mil just because it’s in Manhattan. If that’s the case I’d rather just spend 5k on rent and get something better

I lived in nyc my whole life tho so I know where to look outside Manhattan. Riverdale could be a good option or fort lee and riverside drive in jersey like you said.

But in the far future I’d definitely consider returning to nyc and getting a nice 2 or 3 br condo

Mostly interested in monthly payment details. Like right now if I look at some places I see monthly payments anywhere from 3-5k. That’s fine but I know I’m not just paying mortgage

So like how much higher are monthly expenses outside of mortgage and s*** like that
