but yeah it doesn’t look good
If you listened to his album he is right. The themes they talk about are very very similar. Both are great albums.
Kendrick album is also insanely better in every way like lmao Denzel will never reach that level or even really get close, his fans like me accepted that years ago
Insanely better a stretch. And you can't actually articulate what makes that album insanely better than his, I lowkey think you only believe this because it's Kendrick
Post the hardest lines/most quotable bars that stuck with you off Morale and I guarantee you I could reply with just as many off Melt My Eyez
zel needs to tap back into that phonk again and refine it
that pop-rap sound he’s trying to do isn’t that great
he needs to get on some madlib or thundercat beats
His album isn't even pop rap It's neo soul, that's what he means by he wasn't that loud on his album. He was inspired by the Roots for this album, how is that pop rap

Hard lines don’t make an album at all so idc. How about songwriting, song structure, pacing, emotive performances, use of features, flow, delivery, more dynamic and interesting production choices, want me to keep naming s***? I’ll keep going. It’s also not as similar as he’s making it seem. Denzel is not the level of artist or musician Kendrick is. I say this as a longtime fan that enjoyed the album too. It was cool and a nice approach to that sound
Initially Melt Your Eyez See My Future was the AOTR for a n!gga but I do f*** with the K. Dot
I did put it on afterwards and I do see the similarities. Now I don't wanna get clipped, but Denzel's album has way better production, and that's not even low key. Walkin, Satoichi and the single with T-Pain speak for themselves. But I do think K Dot really went in concept wise as always.

There’s no reason to put down Denzel when he dropped a great album too. Kendrick was better but that’s not a dismissal of Denzel at all.
lots of entirely undeserved hate and disrespect from people who didnt even listen to the album itt
he made it fully clear he loved kendricks album too and just wanted to point out similarities

They wanted to hate Denzels album so bad but they couldn’t and just stayed quiet.
It happens.
The popular rapper will always get more props. Life Is Good and Untitled did grown man rap long before 4:44 but the more popular rapper got more props for it.
C'est la vie.
They wanted to hate Denzels album so bad but they couldn’t and just stayed quiet.

he had an amazing work that was mature, genuine, forward thinking, and grounded yet people are itt saying dumb s***

Elaborate on how all of those are better on MM&TBS than Melt My Eyez. It's not even objective facts anyway, poster right below you saying production on Melt My Eyez is better
Also you don't care about memorable lines but you're talking about songwriting You wiggling on it bruh

So what is the point of a back and forth if u will just disagree with everything I said friend. They’re just on two different levels entirely. Whether he thinks he said the same s*** or not

My point is that you can't support everything you said. You're stating it as fact when it isn't. It's your opinion which is skewed towards the more prominent artist. There is not a huge gap in quality between the two albums on any of those criteria you listed
If Denzel dropped Morale and Kendrick dropped Melt, you'd probably be saying the exact same thing
