That's the exact problem with his albums for the past 5 years though. Some major highlights mixed with a bunch of filler. He needs to shorten his albums because he clearly can't keep up the quality in a 20+ song project. It's hard for anyone to and it's really unnecessary for him to.
Agree, he knows it too which is the weird part but there’s other goals he’s trying to reach with these 20+ albums. Thankfully, this isn’t much of a chore to get through compared to Scorpion which is a start but a shorter album will always be my complaint for him. I thought he found the formula on DLDT perfectly but guess not.
“Taking risks”
“Tay keith and Oz”
Yeah Tay Keith was a worldwide star getting multiple top 10 hits before Drake
Drake gave Tay Keith a chance and it gave us classics. No disrespect to 40 but every new producer has something to offer. Oz wasn't popping until Drake got on the U With Me beat and now they got multiple classics together.

Yeah CLB definitely better than Scorpion although it did have waaaaayyy better hits than CLB. I really wish he never put out Dark Lanes man. My worst fear came true.
I always complain about Drake putting out his best songs at the time as loosies or tracks on his mixtapes rather than saving it for his album. It happened again! When to Say When, Chicago Freestyle, Not You Too, Time Flies, Deep Pockets, Lemon Pepper Freestyle >>> most songs on CLB.
