Not happening unless you’re cliqued up or just say s*** people wanna hear. People take opinions from a while different thread and bring it up in another thread to s*** on people. How do you think that’s gonna go towards someone posting their art? They already want another reason to s*** on you. And god forbid you say something about a users art that we say about others who aren’t in the community everyday. You’ll get crucified.

If you’re serious about this There should be an artist only section that needs to be verified to get in and those who leak or do goofy s*** get banned/kicked from it.

This place thrives off drama between users. Is what it is at this point.

eh outside of somebody making a b**** ass comment on my one of my mv's on youtube, anything else is eh to me.

I think if your government (like in my case) is your artist name for example, all gloves are kinda off. Like if you become public or do things in a local scene, it's kinda unavoidable especially if you almost run into people that do the same thing in the scene just by happenstance.

Whatever y'all do, I'm invested. Just started a band and we're in the rehearsing/recording phase. Trying to get an EP released in June and the full album out by November. All of the songs are written, just a matter of getting the mixes and overdubs right.

Honestly I think segregating all of the creative stuff to its own sxn is a waste because nobody sees it there and there isn't that much of it to begin with. If it dies, it dies, but every new act deserves a shot to blow up in music sxn, even if the reaction is negative.

i’ve had people try to interact with my irl friends about ktt issues which is a complete violation imo

or say very inappropriate things about my band mate whose a girl

or just like spam dms with weird s***

There’s no sectioning

It’s been this way for a while but if you make music you’re welcome to post it up in music sxn and get feedback
Obviously not spamming but ya and we’ll also sticky any projects too at least for the moment
Creative section is just for questions like “how do I get this sound” or non-music creativity (which we’re figuring out a better place for)

Kenny got understandably upset that @Tha7osavage asked a joking question about "if he smashed Rico Nasty" especially because last week she was talking about sexual assault on her social media.

Beside that, it's ironic @op says we need to bring back the KTT creativity when the creativity sxn where a lot of people do post their creative ideas and stuff...get wildly ignored and discarded. And while it's dope that now artists get their stuff pinned for a limited time in music sxn, the traffic in those threads are still quick to die out. And not just that but threads that are meant to spark good discussion and ideas either die early or (for some very ed reasons @​mods) get moved to political sxn or some bullshit.

It's a reason why lot of artists on here that do just post their stuff in the music sxn cause at least it gets traffic, but those threads tend to just die out quick. A thread about something controversial gets more page numbers than say a thread about an op's music video or subjects in general.

So most times, we just "move in silence/IRL" anyways because other than Brockhampton, you not really gonna build a HUGE fanbase off a forum and look how yall turned on them. That one thread about them breaking up was one of the most hateful threads I've ever seen on this site.

Otherwise, @YoungNastyShawty said it best, yall only really jump on artists when they get popular. If someone's rising or if somebody is the first to tell yall bout it, yall don't give them niggas any love. Topaz Jones barely got talked about on here and Kenny Mason is JUST now getting popularity hence now this site talks bout him at length. Hell, out of all threads I've made about my own s***, the one that's gotten the most pages (besides my artist thread) is the one where I was in a complex post lol.

kenny's right tbh, the best thing to do if you as an artist that also posts on here want to work on establishing yourself, is to "GTFO OF HERE" and actually make moves IRL.

Not trying to be rude but from who? I’ve literally seen you get vast majority of love, way more than any other ktt artist in fact, besides a few posters who talked s*** to you and most are banned now anyway.
