Yeah. Tim gets downplayed a lot especially by the new generation.

Man laced Aaliyah, Justin, Missy, Nelly Furtado, Jay, Ginuwine, and Brandy up with straight heat just to name a few. And his debut album was better than In My Mind too and more impactful.

I think Pharrell gets shown more love for the same reason that Andre gets shown for love than Big Boi.

Pharrell had a big influence on fashion and his whole alternative/skater persona makes him stand out as a person more. Tim, on the other hand, just laced people up with beats, and didn't have an iconic look or persona.

And that's no knock on P either because he's definitely a GOAT in the game.

You’re right tho, P being more than a producer in the culture is definitely why he’s a bigger name and gets more flowers.

I think Timbo’s someone who doesn’t get their flowers until people go looking for his beats or through his discography if that makes sense. Once I realized it I mad I ever discounted him
