It had its moments but it’s hard for me to fall for anything too melodramatic. The thing that happens in the second act felt contrived. I would have been cool with it if that’s what the whole movie was about. But after the wrestling injury, the s*** with the dad, the drinking, the pregnancy… It’s too much. Pick a lane.

I liked It Comes At Night. I’ve always described it as a really good episode of The Walking Dead. It might not hold up as well if I watch it again tho.

The use of I Am A God in Waves made me realize that Ye is actually sorta hard to use unless you’re chopping the s*** out of the song. A lot of artists make vague songs that you could apply to your own life but Ye’s songs are strictly about him lol.

Cast is cool and director is definitely someone who has room to grow into someone really dope, but I’m excited for Chayse Irvin. BlackKklansman, God’s Creatures and Blonde were really incredible on technical and aesthetic levels and each very different in their own unique ways. Very excited to see what he does next.

According to the source this gon' be the main song for the movie. He's sticking with the 80s motif but doing more of a MJ tone. It's hard to hear the synths on the record but it's very After-hours. There's a scene , him doing the song then he loses his voice midway through and cancels the concert (which literally happend in LA last year)
