potential biopic?
https://twitter.com/dariatysz95/status/1657815043713409025It's gonna be a reimagining type of thing, not an actual biopic
she looks 14 man
3 for 3 now, every time The Weeknd acts it’ll be some “he’s basically playing himself but he’s not” and I’m over that s*** already. Who asked for a loosely based biopic about this guy?
Lmao what happened on this page?
Were posts deleted for did I already block whoever seemingly posted some nasty s***?

Looks to have been deleted. I didn’t catch what it was
Even as he embarks on an apparent course shift, Tesfaye’s ambitions remain elusive. In addition to The Idol, he’s costarring with Jenna Ortega in an untitled movie that he cowrote with Fahim and Trey Edward Shults, who is directing. Fans invested in the long character arc of his music may be disappointed.
“If I direct, that’s all I’m gonna do,” Tesfaye said. “I’m not going to be The Weeknd.”
Tesfaye worried about losing his pulse for popular music as he grows older, or getting to a point where he chases hits for its own sake. For the most part, though, he carried himself with a lightness. I paraphrased to him something he’d said in one of his earliest interviews, when he was first shedding the mask, or at least a mask: “I think that’s why my career is going to be so long: because I haven’t given people everything.”

I worked as a background extra last week for The Weeknd’s movie with Jenna Ortega and no one asked me to sign an NDA, so… it was basically a 14 hour hostage situation. Made some nice friends though
Edit: There’s not much of a story here, I was just miserable. We were hired for 8 hours and were held at the Honda Center for 14, with one meal. We heard the same 40 second clip of an unreleased song probably 40 times, and had to react every single time for the cameras. They hired 1,600 of us and moved us to a different section after every take. No phones allowed, obviously, and the only reason I could keep track of time was because I wore a watch, which later told me I climbed like 9 flights of stairs.
Jenna Ortega was there because she’s playing some crazed fan/stalker, but they had filmed most of her scene the day before. The day I worked she just stood there and everyone stared at her like a caged animal.
so it's an another film project featuring some version of him being a singer? this is kinda getting funny man lol.

So another ‘swarm’ type movie?
The use of I Am A God in Waves made me realize that Ye is actually sorta hard to use unless you’re chopping the s*** out of the song. A lot of artists make vague songs that you could apply to your own life but Ye’s songs are strictly about him lol.
Hangover 1 did it right
