Will be doing regular “of the day” type post like cool facts and photos or videos of the band or pop culture reference to them or connections, other artists fans and showing their love or collaborating etc

I loved the white album. Gotta go through the rest of their stuff at some point

Oh you did listen to it?! 🤗 it’s a fan favorite, hands down top 3! it’s outstanding for a band to have been in the game for so long yet to drop an album as exciting and relevant this late in their career! lot of bands from 90’s by now at this age are washed

It sounds at the same time very authentic and old school but with still room for new sounds, best of both worlds!

I’d say definitely go for the Blue album after that, you can go eyes closed on that one! w
White has some nods to different eras but I would say it’s likely a wink to the blue the most in someway

Have you listened to the deluxe version of White? the bonus songs are a great if not better

singles so far are decent, this might turn out alright

They aired a bit of another new song during the Simpsons episode

Rivers also said there’s gonna be a Homie song on it, don’t know which one but that’s crazy exciting (Homie was his side project that he never finished from 1997 during weezer hiatus, all we got from it are some demos and live bootleg shows because he said he lost the tapes because they were left at the studio back in Boston where they recorded it and it shut down since)

(if you’re interested there’s two fans who got together and recorded an album made out of songs from Homie and other early Green album material and it sounds divine, some of the finest Rivers songwriting on it)

There’s also gonna be a song on it from 1992 with a Jason Cropper credit on it (original guitarist who left during recording blue album because wife got pregnant)

Either way it’s gonna be a fun album to blast for the summer (it HAS to drop in time for that, it was already supposed to be out 😭)

And then we getting Ok Human, Rivers stated yet again there is NO guitars in it, just piano and strings recorded at Abbey Road studios 👌

I actually think the Upside MTV bar is lowkey genius like Wayne really thought it out you know?
(if you didn’t catch it, upside MTV = two reverses Ws, one for Weezer and another for Weezy )
