That’s an excellent idea tbh. You could do an entire project in that vein if you wanted, there’s a lot of creative potential with that

that was the whole concept me and my friend started a whole project based off of that- i was so excited when i came up with this idea and the brainstorming that came wth it, both visually and all the possibilities musically onto how to blend it or sometimes having the freedom to go into more on the metal or more on the surf and where both each has so much under genres or styles to also toy with

unfortunately my friend and i parted ways due to personal bs so idk feels different, still feel like that project was my vision and my baby and pulled the best out of my creatively so i should pick it up but idk

You absolutely should. Maybe revisiting it solo will bring even more out of it creatively because you are only limited by your own imagination and creativity. They may have helped you actualize the idea but if it’s your creative baby then only you could bring it to life as realized as possible. I mean you’re the one who actually wrote the song and brought it to life out of an idea
