just saw it is May 7th thanks tho!
van weezer is gonna be a CLASSIC all the singles are some pure weezer s***
crine you had one job
grimes weezer superfan got corrected by someone who typed weeser and never heard an album by them
Is it bad I have listened to any van Weezer singles?
maybe it’s for the best tbh considering the messy rollout

Hmmm
I want to listen to the full album so I'm holding out
Didn't know the rollout was messy: what's going on?
if i had knew vw would be this much delayed i wouldn’t have listened to the singles or at least that much bc by now we know too much off of it and they’re prolly gonna release more since they’re gonna have to do new promo again when the date approaches especially if they’re keeping with the tour

Weezer fan card revoked
after the seasons albums its the end of the game for crush

okh was conceived a while back after the black album or so? but crush said hey let’s do a stadium tour with you green day and fall out boy so weezer was like s*** orchestra album ain’t gonna rock for this lol so rivers did van weezer, 80s glam metal influenced where weezer would authorize themselves to do things they originally banned weezer from doing whe MJ they started out in blue album days - all cliché rock 80s s*** that was dated then, tapping guitar solos, palm muting etc
one single dropped for it and months of nothing then so weird like just some talk show performance and that’s it and nothing for months then finally a second single and then covid put a hold on all that right around that time so delayed announcement or did we already have a delay before that second single? either we did or there was no date given so either way lot of waiting
and then months of something total darkness
then finally a third single for a movie then new date and delayed again
and then again months of nothing now we’re getting a full year in this roll out since the first single came out (which by now weezer holds the record for longest period between first single drop and album drop OAT) then they switch up and gave us okh since covid wasn’t getting away (which worries me bc they had plans to do orchestral tour for okh so are they skipping this? rivers still mentions the concept in interviews so it seems in the air but by the time wouldn’t okh be “old” to promote with a tour?)
and vw finally set for may now
but that means that it’s fine to wait until then bc we have a new album but they’re gonna have to release some new single again or something approaching van weezer especially if they’re going through with the tour now so that’s gonna be half the album by then released idk how to feel about that
so this is why crush label is getting heat
apparently they aren’t managing other artists of their roast well either
but yeah it kinda sucks and ruins commercial potential for the album
altho if they set preorders this long there must be some good sells locked up for when it drops but ughh WHAT A MESS what a drag
after the seasons albums its the end of the game for crush
rivers seems upset at them tbh
yeah this is great so far, on numbers
numbers hits so hard
“i hear the silence in your laughter”
just good f***ing MUSIC something i havent heard in awhile

on this point, if we don't end up getting the ok human tour in full I most likely see them just doing a kinda mini-tour of sorts with just shows in major cities with full symphony instead of a full-on tour since Rivers seems to passionate about the concept to fully let it go, even if he won't be able to execute it fully.

it’s so confusing
okh drops but then gets overshadowed by van weezer and then there’s 4 albums next year so where does okh tour happens in all of this
who knows
