oh wow i just noticed over 30k replies lol nice. i dont think a leonard cohen thread woudl get that sadly. thats ok though. any reply in a leonard cohen thread would be treasured
have u listened to hurley
nope, just Ok Human and now the White album
i was planning on listening to Blue next, but your post about the melodies made me consider listening to Hurley next since thats the kind of stuff i liked the most
So I've listened to the White album front to back twice now, as well as just listening to a handful of songs from there on shuffle
i really enjoyed it
I would put it just under Ok Human so far but only by a little
on first listen the stand out song was 'LA Girlz'
and then when I listened again, 'Jacked Up' blew me away
I've been listening to that song on repeat for two days now
(specifically the version on the deluxe album)
There isn't any songs on there that i hated, but the songs that i loved enough to add to my main library were:
California Kids
LA Girlz
Jacked Up
Endless Bummer
Jacked Up (deluxe version)
Friend of a Friend
I'm gonna listen to the blue album next, when i can
Yesss jacked up is f***ing amazing
Glad you enjoyed it bro, just a little fyi tho blue is like way less pop oriented then white and ok human

MY MAN CAME THRU
didn’t i told u white was perfect bridge???
you’re gonna LOVE blue if you f*** with LA girlz, it’s one of those more blue throwback sounding songs of the album
jacked up is one of my all time fav =w= and one of the most “new” sounding songs off of white, that’s why i made the connection with okh for you, the presence of the piano etc - the song does feel very red album in a way too but also pinkerton bc of its poetry
ugh just the best
plus his falsetto on it
that’s brazzy u picked on the jacked up remix too not lot do, i like that!
friend of a friend >>>> that’s one of the most retro weezer like song too, with that and la girlz you get a good picture of early weezer moods
summer elaine has been a fav of me lately of white, one of their most nirvana type song imo along with lonely girl (or to go further everyone, that one is straight up nirvana blueprinted song whew)
GOAT S*** NIGHTMAN
go for blue deluxe also when you get to blue !!!
