Yah sorry about that lol, after about 2 months of listening to nothing but weezer i had a bit of burnout in March and took a lil break lmao

But yah that's probably my favorite thing I read about ok human, really glad to see people putting weezer into a metamodernist context cuz unlike the writer themselves I would actually consider them proto-metamodernist (but i don't fault the writer on it bc that's probably just from me knowing so much about Rivers and his approach to art lol). Also loved the Sufjan comparison, very true.
