yes Ithaka showed me the White album some weeks ago, and i really loved it was my introduction to listening to Weezer then i found out he had a whole thread about them, and here we are Blue/white album so far
he blew my mind when he told me that the lyrics and songwriting from the White album was this social experiement thing ( @Ithaka can explain it better, im just going off memory ) where most if not all the lyrics were based on conversations he overheard from strangers (crine, i remember there was WAAAAY more details to this, but i can't remember atm )

no it’s accurate he took notes of things he would overheard when hanging out or read on the internet through snapchat and even get a tinder account talk to ppl and pick on what they say and glue it together

some songs are personal or have personal bars tho
