truly horrible
I ended up seeing Panic! a few years later actually after my friend invited me and it was a pretty fun time but not the same, they were touring for an album i didn't really like and had some weak ass opener, Hayley Kiyoko my friend liked her but i wasn't very impressed
that’s what u get for taking the weez for granted, harsh punishment but important lesson

truly one of the most underwhelming moments of my life.

Fr that should've been released officially, but what is this fan club you speak of?
@Ithaka
Everything will be alright
Favorite songs
I really like the flow of the verses and the hook is great too
eulogy for a rock band
I've had it up to here
The guitar solo towards the end
I've had it, I've had it
the British are coming
Instantly liked the infectious hook
*THE BRITISH ARE CO-OMING
And the guitar solo , I really like that tone
I. the waste land and III. the return to Ithaka (🌹)
All I have to say is....
They're really good musicians to pull off great songs with no lyrics at all, i didn't even mind, the instrumental was on point and that actually goes for the entire project - they're really good at finding melodies/hooks that are catchy yet not generic pop music tier imo. It really sounds like they enjoy making music which is inspiring as well

it’s like something you pay to get into and you get exclusive content, you’re invited to a community page and then they release a vinyl per year? early infos from weezer camp directly... forgot what else , maybe it changed since then, i think @Bad_Finger_Boogie can tell you more he was in it

Fella looking like François Hollande in This b****
so you look like him
@HeyFella and me are big fans..
my first comment ever on the internet on a weezer community was me defending this song lol
there was a poll going on and fans were trashing it and i was like how you guys gonna glorify butterfly but think this is unsavable when they’re both acoustic ballads (altho spider has some synths but you get it) with insects as metaphor.. like what does spider did so wrong lol
but then i realized i was talking to trash old heads that wanted weezer just one way - however they had a point about it that sticks with me: the final line “im insane” undersells the song overall, I LOVE the lyrics and where it rambles little by little where you understand yourself he’s insane so for him to just flat out say it is a bit too on the nose
but f*** that masterpiece of a song
Yeah it’s probably top 10 for me at this point
Do they have an albim with similar vibes to Spider, Pig, Dreamin?
yes raditude
jk
mmmm not really no 😕 IMO the closest thing to red album (regular) is black album in terms of creativity
uhhh but rivers did promise an acoustic album coming up after ok human and van weezer (thing is he’s working on the next 3 weezer albums after that at same time so who knows where the acoustic is within those three)
