his journey started in 2003 - he reconnected with matt sharp in 2004 and they have an album planned together - that’s when they wrote time song, in the process of getting everything back right in his life

he still goes on yearly vipassana retreat for 10 days, he just came back from it yesterday- he never misses a vipassana meditation ever since he started in 2003 - only day he couldn’t practice it was when he was in that tour bus accident but went back at itt right away when he got in hospital

funny enough in one of the strokes episode they doing for their last album promo which they got rick rubin to produce it - they had rick interview and he brings up rivers in it at around 6:35

rick mentions rivers only traveled in bus at that time (?) and that rivers is the one who found the shangri la studio for rick !!!!!!!

maladroit probably the most underrated weezer album of them all. band never talks about it, feels like fans never mention it. s*** even radititude gets more attention. definitely some gems on there though. Weezer at their heaviest
