Honestly I really refer to Post-Pinkerton as two different stylistic ages...like the band from Pre-Pinkerton is so much different than the band Post-Pinkerton, hell I prefer White to Blue if I'm being honest

i still think Songs is by my favorite work by Maus overall and possibly, most likely, my favorite album OAT but We Must Become is basically the perfect pop album and should most likely be considered where Maus fully shaped/formed his sound. I mean, Hey Moon alone is a pretty good clarification that nothing else was coming close to it. Maybe the most cold synths ever lol.
