yeah some songs such as trampoline and everyone goes back to 1997 or 99 and stuff like autopilot are from 2008

so basically oasis did this compilation in the 90s that are fans favorites voted best b sides they put it but it wasn’t sold as a compilation it had an original title and artwork shot for it and so with no indication not being new studio album it kinda is considered as such even tho it’s b sides from their previous two albums and because it’s SO f***ing GOOD it stayed considered as a studio album kinda

so anyway rivers was inspired by this and dtfm was originally titled odds and ends and was gonna have band recordings of songs we never heard of (even through the fanbase, all unknown documented or unleaked s***) as a compilation but then rivers have it a original title and artwork with no indication of compilation on it

while it’s still songs from their catalogue put together they are for 1 songs we never heard before and 2 some of them if not all are entirely reproduced and mixed and have re-recorded parts (for example blowing my stack is from make believe sessions and if you’re familiar with that album now you can tell how rivers sing and never screamed during that era unlike hurley were he tapped into his inner kurt cobain and tried some funny sounds with his voice see where’s my s***so when you listen to blowing my stack his vocals are clearly hurley era)

so it sounds more like original album to me unknown songs unheard before re-recorded parts...

but they saying it’s compilation now ig
