Well, kinda a broad question but I'd say overall in every aspect of him, have it be his films, music, paintings or even interviews. He offers a super singular perspective that balances a really deeply rooted sadness and insecurity (any interview or essay by him that's long enough will reveal this) but also a deep understanding of other humans that's very rarely exposed within any form of media even within his more kookiness (he basically now just makes conservative t-shirts about people he likes or doesn't like, sadly most of them got deleted on his IG but they are still up on his website and even with these shirts there's a pretty raw and sorta endearing quality to them i can't put my finger on). Buffalo 66 & Brown Bunny alone really tap into expression i feel very deeply that i rarely feel.

Plus with his overall off the wall-ness it's pretty interesting to dig up as much as you can find about him over the years lol.

same, really hope their relationship didn't get strained after Josh got kicked from the band for John. They were great together.

according to recent josh interviews they haven't spoken in years, and he misses the musical relationship they had then

seems like the distance is all on john's end, but he said there's no hard feelings and he still has love for him
