@HeyFella to go back to what we were talking about just earlier for example in my book there shouldn’t be a reason for voidz to be separated from strokes now idk the motivations maybe julian couldn’t get out of the members of the strokes to pull off and do the creative s*** the dudes in the voidz brings - that is if it’s not in julian himself bc i know he uses to write everything for the early strokes every section bass guitar drums for it to have that specific sound so wouldn’t surprise me if that’s how he does the voidz too

my point being is that if only talking musically speaking and not the reasons behind i don’t see why strokes couldn’t drop the albums the voidz did as im sure the fans would be mad they’re not getting more of the old school strokes sounds but they already have 2 full albums out of it, and they’ll never be topped, and that’s fine, it’s done and it’s a miracle they exists in the first place and we should appreciate it as it is - a song is enough to make a musical statement we don’t need 500,000s falling for you and what not

its gonna take me a few weeks or so for me to fully make up my mind on where this ranks within Weezer's discog so i can let it fully sink in
