Really? Im not a dude who can spot amazing technical singing or whatever but from listening to this album I thought he was struggling on parts of it, he do have a great falsetto tho.

i don't have one tbh, but from what I've heard, songs from the black hole seems to be their best work

it’s emotional and personal, moving lyrics and melodies but they don’t just fall to the easy route or making it all slow bc it’s orchestral rivers is smart enough to keep it upbeat with some serious infectious bops - the mixing and production is so tight and crispy and rivers vocals are as amazing as ever, amazing harmonies too - the last track has a very brian wilson chorus imo

all jokes aside i seriously adore every seconds of PD as much as pinkerton - theyre just different albums

baroque / chamber pop? that's my third fav genre, so this might be right up my alley

I actually started listening to weezer in 2019 so it was weird like they were my fav thing atm but they were dropping new albums and i didnt like them at all

On Black they got High As A Kite at least but i dont get what they were even going for on that album. They owe us at least one more great self titled album
