Like i have pics of like a year later when i met another favorite band of mine, and in my head, they were just gods. So f***ing cool and untouchable. But when i look at the picture, its clear that theyre some goofy ass awkward ass 19 yr old s***s.

So how they are in mind and how it actually was are usually completely different.

But overall they were kinda just super kind, and really appreciative tbh

Tbh, in general, meeting ppl you adore works out f***ing terribly most often

Like ive seen where the artist is honestly uncomfortable or annoyed as f*** by the fan and but theyre trying to tell them to get the f*** away in a nice way and the fan doesnt pick up on it at all

thom yorke was a sweet heart to me

it’s just about being self awareness of what you project like your experience ce their experience

for you it’s special so you unconsciously make it special but for them it’s every day casual and they just want to be treated like regular dudes and talk about normal stuff, not be glorified or put on a pedestal - that’s what makes s*** uncomfortable

i generally down play my interactions with artists - it tends to pay off

the idea of meeting someone i really adore sounds cool in my head but i feel like it would be an uncomfortable experience if it were to actually happen

there’s this guy from this tv show who i would see regularly at this store he was always there when i stopped by i acted like i didn’t know who he was and we ended up making lot of friendly chats - it’s only when he was going out the country he casually asked me if i know the show he was on and i acted like no? and got his autograph like that

but those kind of interactions are rare tho
