Hot Tub
I wrote this song in 1993 for Tom Jones.
He didn't use it.
Chiba had a hot tub in the courtyard of her apartment complex in Palms.

WOW WTF
Kurt Cobain
Rumor that I'm actually Kurt Cobain. Nope, not true.
Never met him. The Blue album came out a month after he die. It's possible, though unlikely, that he heard it. Same label.
I'm pretty sure I never said his name in any of the hundreds of interviews I did in the nineties. Correct me if you find one. I was uncomfortable saying his name.
After he died, I changed the lyric in "Suzanne" to "Izzy, Slash".
@Jerry_Seinfeld hes trying to throw us off you think???
1999
I painted my room black, unplugged my phone and stopped listening to music.

Pet Sounds
I discovered Pet Sounds at the ripe old age of twenty when I went to the local used CD store with the intention of buying a “classic” album by a “classic” band that I had not yet gotten into. Two CDs I found fit that description: Pet Sounds and Led Zeppelin I (don’t ask me how I managed to avoid Led Zeppelin through my teenage years, but I did.) Unfortunately, even after pawning my Mercyful Fate CDs, I could afford only one of the two. After much musing, I decided on Pet Sounds, primarily because the cover was so weird. It’s impossible to exaggerate the effect this decision has had on my life. Thank you Brian Wilson.

Midnight aka Cardigan Disaster was a song I originally wrote for the Black album, but because of the unexpected success of Africa we ended up holding off on its release as a single. It did not end up making the final version of the Black album.
@new

Songs From The Black Hole
Songs from the Black Hole was a space themed rock opera/musical originally envisioned as the follow-up album to The Blue Album, but during the course of songwriting/demoing, the concept was discarded, and the project evolved into the album Pinkerton. Several of the SFTBH songs ended up on Pinkerton or as single b-sides, some of which were slightly altered lyrically or sonically.
Actually, most of the songs were written before I had the concept in mind. Then I tried to alter them to fit the concept. Then after abandoning the concept, I went back to the original version. For example, the first 4 songs on Pinkerton.
As stated on the April 9, 2020 Island in the Zoom episode, I do not plan on releasing a Songs From The Black Hole album, as all songs have been released on various other albums available for listening on my Spotify pag
Never say never. But the story would need a lot of work to make sense. Music was amazing though
QB Blitz
Mainly inspired by the lack of commercial breakthrough of the White Album, after hiring talent new management at the beginning of 2015. My wife wouldn’t do Khan Academy algebra with me. The phrase 'qb blitz' just came to me while writing stream of consciousness. Maybe it means I have to resort to drastic measures after being frustrated with more conservative play.
