He was in his f***ing bag in that era, that lineup was perfect and it just brought out maybe his best performance ever on a record atleast imo. When he just starts pounding it at 0:57 and he’s losing his s*** and it just cuts to mark standing still in a flannel

idk i like to give anything a shot

been listening a lot to upcoming ktt talents so like rap or more rnb

avalanches was my AOTY last year

uhhh outside of that my safe zones are anything soul or power pop, these always gets me, i also like anything that plays around like 70s or 80s synths, that whole alt indie scene

but really anything as long it’s not boring or drags on, i need hooks or beats, upbeat that’s my lesson and take away after going through the deepest depths of music and what you learn from it or yourself

but yeh idk im over thinking this lol just shoot whatever was your last music crush that gets you going

i still love that avalanches album so much, easily top 3 of last year for me. especially now that i see and hear it as a complete project instead of singles + new songs it’s so strong and fun to listen to, i always wanna start it from the top whenever i just listen to one song

i’m not sure how much you might like this (or may already know him), but i absolutely love this version of this song if u want fun upbeat music, it’s off a compilation and the entire comp is worth a listen. he has a really incredible story and he was a one of a kind musician
