Emotional abuse is such a lame word as someone who went to law school because how the f*** will you ever differentiate that from being mean to someone

There is a concept here in German law called the general risk of life stating that not every negative behavior can be dealt with using the law because life itself is full of risks we have to deal with daily

Can I say a woman emotionally abused me by giving me false hope? It might suck on a moral level but so what, it's a general risk of dating. To put that on the same level as acts that will get you behind bars like child abuse and rape is just f***ing insane lmao

I noticed a lot of these radlibs wanna codify everything into the realm of law and even criminalize it which is a troublesome development for me
