okay...still didn't age well in some parts. Its still one of my favorite rap albums of all time
too much of the internet thinks that something being a product of the time period it was released in was a bad thing which blows my mind
people usually don't come forward with their valid explanations first so yeah it ends up just sounding like "oh this is dusty"
LR isn't even chipmunk soul s*** majority of the time you literally just lying your ass off lmao. and no sounding like a product of its time does not mean it aged badly
Other one is an attempt at stadium anthemic pop which has its moments but ehhh
Lr was already forgettable from the jump so idc does have classic tunes tho
Nope but they aged badly,i aint hearing none of those being played compared to say 50 Cent In Da Club
those beats aged well
Meh not imo
Same with them early 2010 beats(trap and epic stadium ones) yikessss aged bad as hell

Nobody thinks that
Just trapped there,u can hear it
Mbdtf for example u dont
original thread
Posting any of Kanye’s first 4 albums is absolutely ridiculous. You’re just practically saying “I don’t like this like everybody else does :/ “ instead of considering the impact and influence of these albums.

You saying these s***s don’t hold up for real?
Something being dated doesn’t mean s***, Tribe Called Quest albums are damn near masterpieces by definition and they will forever have outdated 90’s slang and mentions of older times. Straight weirdos talking like classic albums are just something that’s voted for by the academy or someshit.
Some of it aged really well, but other tracks have that chintzy mainstream 2010 sound with the blown out synths and way too much going on in general:

That fake southern drawl still kills me
AWFUL post
It's tough because only his fans think it's a classic. Doesn't really fit the thread.
Ktt3 users in 2030 will remove classic status from albums for some petty s*** like using live instruments or some s***

G im not a Drake stan but this his only undisputed classic imo. This was the album where he took the throne (success wise). This album was a moment

His delivery and flow and lots of the production all aged like milk.
IYRT is still fresh though.
