Ok we're the ones conversing rn. I listen to plenty of music in plenty of environments. I think the album is solid. It isn't my favorite Kendrick project by a long shot, and that's OK. I take what I take from it, express what I want about it, then go. I realize not everyone does that and people take things to extremes whether to troll or retaliate against trolling.

my only issue with your post is, yes Kendrick is GREAT and has always been GREAT. but so have artists of the past. and maybe there came a time with some of them where the common opinion is that they were no longer AS great. I'm not saying this is where Kendrick is at. but your post doesn't even leave the option open, and that's where people take issue with the superiority thing when it comes to Kenny. that's all.

At one point we have to acknowledge some sort of dip in quality because nothing is perfect forever, I see what you're saying 100%

I just think with Kenny it's hard cuz for example, when TPAB came out, I myself don't really like that album all too much, and think it's kinda monotonous, overly -hyped, too serious etc etc..

BUT, I wasn't screaming to the heavens that Kendrick fell off or will never make a great project again.

I guess there is a middle ground though
