GoshNot to speak for him, but I think that being his most commercial album kinda puts a stink on it for a fanbase that doesnt really give a f*** about commerical success, great album, but for me, its not one of his best at all imo, I would put GNX and MM over it personally
I feel this take but I think in this context it should still be mentioned exactly for that he came back from TPAB wit smashes whether people might not dig it as much.

I feel like his "weirdo rap" is actually good musically which a lot of weirdo rap just isnt. Some of them just cant make good songs.

I understand u seeing GKMC sounding better to you its been my fav album for so long and the first album i ever bought physically but there MM is just so raw and personal
Gkmc is a movie so sinematic amazing production all alone great story tellings but MM is just more touching
I think its more about being connected with yourself
In GKMC kendrick shows other people's perspectives mostly but MM its mostly just himself so i think if u r a big kendrick fan its only right to appreciate MM more but im not mad anybody ranking gkmc higher but tpab is def better
