at least JPEG makes up for his subpar rapping with immaculate production, and Danny is a phenomenal writer otoh—those Von, Dababy, Durk lane guys are a chore to listen to

On the fence with this. I will say that there needs to be less trap/drill music. It's definitely time we move on from that. We need more fresh sounds instead of 2 dominant ones

One thing I want to see is more of the big names putting up and coming rappers on. I admire J.Cole and Tyler The Creator for doing this(ROTD3, plus his feature runs and Tyler's solo albums, respectively). For Example,can you imagine collabs such as Kendrick Lamar and Denzel Curry, Drake and Navy Blue, Kanye and JPEGMafia, ASAP Rocky and Pink Siifu, etc. That would be crazy and interesting as hell. I doubt it would happen tho.
