What is the most common racism that yall experience that white ppl will never know? Talking about other than police, jobs, justice system
Probably getting followed in the store. If that counts
Yep. Not just Montana but also New Mexico, Colorado, North Dakota, Nebraska, Wyoming, places with lots of space and low population. There's also a huge one in Germany and dozens in New Zealand. Read this article if you wanna be blown away by how billionaires are preparing for what they call The Event.

Makes sense. Kanye bought like 10k acres in WY
Virginia def more racist than NC and Georgia
Depends which parts, if you go more southwest then definitely
Cap. I’m black and I live in Boston. S*** is def overblown how racist it is.
Maybe it's reputation proceeds itself, those labels get overblown pretty easily. Definitely has a well documented problem though

I dont know bro i was born and raised before i left for college and certain parts are very much like how theyre stereotyped. Southie north end savin hill
And then every where else is backhanded racism. Its def gotten better cuz out of state people have moved in the times i come down to visit but that Irish history is vicious
Where in mass were u
I've been all over it. Berkshires, Springfield, Boston, Boston suburbs, the Cape. all of it lol
Boston is filled with tight-knit Irish Catholic neighborhoods that have been all white for like 200 years. They rarely interact with black people and are generally raised racist without opposition. Western south Carolina is what people think of when they think of the racist south. I'm in the middle in a majority black city and frankly I'd say this city is the place I've witnessed the least public racism. A lot of well intentioned people here that have supported policies that may have contributed to systemic racism, but a lot of people are just now understanding how that works. Generally people here truly care about their neighbors and show it in every day interactions. Then eastern SC (Charleston at least) is weird bc people are more liberal but it's also very segregated bc freed slaves basically started their own neighborhoods and the housing division still exists.
I'm from Boston and this is all true. We just wear Celtics jackets and if we see anyone who doesn't have red hair and white skin we kill them.

These people see The Departed and assume Boston is just Southie haha when Southie is basically Dorchester which is black af.
in my experience a lot of isolated rural US isn't necessarily "racist" in the traditional sense, they're just hyper-xenophobic. it's less about skin color or race and more about perception of outsiders. rolling through a place like isolated nebraska or something, they treat north-easterners or west coast people like the literal devil regardless of their race. southern US is less xenophobic and more racist. the most racist parts of the US though realistically are the rural heroin-addicted poverty-stricken towns in like, central PA, upstate NY, or central jersey. those places may as well be KKK hotspots
The further you down to Kentucky. Northern Kentucky isn’t bad, it’s pretty much Cincinnati.
Tennessee
Some states on the east coast are pretty racist.
Went on a road trip with some friends from Cali to Miami a few years ago for Rolling Loud. Made a pit stop in Alabama and at this gas station a bunch of hicks racially abused me and were telling my white friends how they had let down their slave master ancestors
Was definitely one of those situations where I was ready to risk it all but thank God I've got some real friends

Took three of my boys to hold me back. But I think they had a rifle in their truck so you know how that would have ended
