I used to find The Morning Fog at the end of Hounds Of Love crazy jarring but its grown on me over the years

Run The World desn't fit the sound of the album at all. And to make it worse, she put it as the last song when the previous track is I Was Here that works perfectly as a closing song

I like the instrumental at the end but it just felt like a huge drop after Houstonfornication

    Houstonfornication is goated

    Nah reverse it
Houstonblabla is s***, Coffee Bean is so f***ing hard, it's a different Travis we rarely ever hear

  • krishna bound

apple pie is not a bad song what the hell

i don't actually hate coffee bean but the writing on it is ass

    Writing is hard imo
Simple and to da point, relatable too even tho it's about a superstar being in a relationship

I feel like thats the closest travis ever got to an introspective song

I like where he talks about feeling out of place amongst his girls family as a black dude almost like they’re waiting for him to make one mistake so they can villainize him bc the Kardashians really do that

He didnt even write the song but still i imagine the sentiment came from him

  • Dec 6, 2024

One thing I dont get is why Travis Scott will pay somebody to ghostwrite bad lyrics for him

  • NorthShoreWhiteGuy

Wish those 2 had made the album. Toss out apple pie and flying high

Songs are hard af and funky af

Not saying these are the worst ever but they're not ideal and there are other tracks I feel like would've worked better:

Enjoy Right Now, Today - odd choice to make an instrumental the album closer. November or Glitter would've worked much better (even though I don't really fw Glitter)

Are We Still Friends - derivative af of the Al Green sample but I guess Tyler wanted to make the album a loop and it works better than I Don't Love You Anymore in that sense

Note To Self - don't mind the song itself but f***ing saying thank you to people for 5+ mins Would've preferred Love Yourz if he was going to do that s***

within the context of the album apple pie makes sense as a closing song. the deluxe version songs f***s up the sequencing a bit though

Never Catch Me is a great outro imo

I personally am a big fan of the "last song" sounding song being the second to last song and then putting something irreverent and fun as the last track lmao

its the same way i'd think about concerts. you don't end on the farewell song you do an encore after! and s*** is fun af! and the reason you do that is everyone leaves thinking wow that was fun
