I know this isnt a unique thread idea but I’m curious where everyone’s at. If you had one wish to come true in 2025 Hip Hop what would it be?

For some reason it’s starting to feel like 2010-2013 to me again so I’m hoping we get that type of diversity and creativity. Need rappers to not come with the same couple flows and rap on weird production and make actual concept songs and albums again that really mean something. No Joyner Lucas type s*** where you are rapping about an idea cause you can but something backed with passion. Confidence & charisma need to come to the fore front again, tired of uninteresting mysterious dudes who really on aesthetic cause they have nothing of value to say. Even tho I love future and thug and a lot of Atlanta artists I’m glad they fell off cause the game needs a break from all that for a while

A new nae nae/chicken noodle would actually be fire too. Can see that happening a lot with the impending 00s revival. Was the last song with a rapper dance really toosie slide??

isn't that better though? i feel like there has been some good s*** reviving stuff from that era but it's nothing to build a career, let alone a project off of - better to keep it as just a vanity thing

Artists to be less scared of looking like they actually put effort into their stuff and trying to create masterpieces

Honestly more 3O plus instrumental albums .. 9th wonder and Malik Yusef just put some out .. or like the album combo with the instrumentals attached.

God damn it I thought this thread was about food I was thinking hard just from the title.

But might be a little niche but I’m craving some pluggnb. Feel like that had a lot of untapped potential and I still think it’s aged great. But Maybe it’s still around heavily and I’m just out of tune.
